This will also be the preliminary planning meeting for Handmade Parade. If you are interested in being involved this year, please come out!

Free and open to the public! Bring a snack to share potluck-style and a craft to work on if you wish! Come hang out with other creative people in the area, everyone is welcome!

Studio Rat's Clay Class!

Completely free workshop with Ashley Pickin. All supplies provided! We will be making and firing tiles at the ODU Ceramic Studio! Please wear older clothes you don't mind messing up, and bring lotion for your hands.

The studio is at the corner of West 47th St. and Monarch in Norfolk, Va., across from the Stables Theater. It's a white concrete building with a parking lot in front.

Now in its 5th year, Crafty Bastards Arts & Crafts Fair is an exhibition and sale of handmade alternative arts and crafts from independent artists presented by the Washington City Paper. The fair is all-day, outdoors, free to attend, and will offer goods for sale, food, entertainment, prizes, and more!

35th Annual Newport News Fall Festival of Folklife

7 Cities Crafters/Suffolk Museum Show & Sale

The Suffolk Museum is interested in partnering with our group to throw a one-day exhibit/sale in January. 7 Cities Crafters will sell their wares in the museum in downtown Suffolk. The goal is to expand their reach to a younger, more contemporary crowd and to draw people to Suffolk. Tables are $10 each and refreshments will be provided. This is a great opportunity.
